Vickie Reynolds

November 28, 1945 — September 27, 2019

Vickie Barger Reynolds, age 73 formerly of Suncrest Rd., passed away Friday, September 27, 2019 at Atrium Health in Pineville.  She was born November 28, 1945 to the late Bill “Bear Hunter” and Aileen Helms Barger.  She was faithful Christian lady and a longtime member of First Baptist Church where she participated in many activities, including a mission trip to England.  She was an avid sports fan and loved to watch sports, especially the Atlanta Braves.  Vickie enjoyed animals and was a breeder of fine dogs.  She was the true definition of a mom who was loving and selfless at all times.  In addition to her parents, Bear Hunter and Aileen Barger, she was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Barger. Survivors include her children, Jeff Carpenter, Wes Carpenter, and Leslie Reynolds; brother, Bill Barger and wife, Connie; sister, Fayleen Huffstetler; seven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Monday, September 30, 2019 at 11:00 AM at City Memorial Cemetery.  The family will receive friends after the service at the home of Bill and Connie Barger, 135 Robert Rd. Cherryville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church – Wee Program, 301 E. First St. Cherryville NC 28021.
