Troy Anthony

Troy Wayne Anthony, age 50 of N. Elm Street, passed away Saturday, January 1, 2022 at Cardinal HealthCare of Lincolnton. He was born March 4, 1971 in Dunedin Florida to Roger Wayne Anthony and the late Oddys Rebecca Carter Anthony.

Troy was a huge Pittsburg Steelers fan. He enjoyed sports, and assisted with coaching and umpiring various sports, including little league baseball and Dixie Youth Girls Softball. He also enjoyed restoring classic cars.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Oddys Rebecca Carter Anthony.

Survivors include his father, Roger Wayne Anthony; daughter, Paigeland Grace Anthony; brothers, Nathan Anthony, and T.C. Anthony; step-son, T.J. Turner; and nephews, Cameron Anthony, and Mason Anthony.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Carpenter-Porter Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Holtsclaw officiating.

Burial will follow at City Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 prior to the service at the funeral home.
