Michael “Todd” Freeman, age 51 of Creek Run Ct. went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, April 6, 2021.  He was born July 31, 1969 in Lincoln County, a son of Jim and Janice Lingerfelt Owens.  Todd was a member of Independent Baptist Tabernacle.  He was a gamer and also enjoyed playing Softball.  He was a loving husband, father, son, grandfather, brother, and friend to many.

 

He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Larry Waldroup.

 

Survivors include his wife, Lisa Waldroup Freeman; son, Justin; daughter, Ashley Leighann; parents, Jim and Janice Owens; brothers, Allan Freeman and Michael Owens; grandchildren, Annsleigh Renee, Rylan Gage, and Corbin Shane; mother-in-law, Mary Ann Waldroup; sister-in-law, Missy Waldroup; brother-in-law, Larry Dale Waldroup; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

 

Private funeral services will be held at Independent Baptist Tabernacle with Rev. Brian Spargo officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Dear Janice and Jim and Allen and Michael whole family of Todd Freeman .  We are heartbroken  to hear about his death. I know you are going  through a . lot of pain so so sorry .nothing will ever take away that but Jesus knows you are in need of His grace courage ,mercy He will be with you always  .He loved Todd as we  did. We remember how your family and ours were so close ,  sorry we will not be able to be there. Kylee is very sick and we not want to spread anything to anyone. we have always loved your whole whole family. Be sure your son is now in the arms of our Dear   Savior  the sweet Heavenly DOVE . We will remember all of you in prayer. Been carrying a heavy heart all day since I heard of Todd’s passing. He was a loyal friend, always greeted me with a smile, and I will miss him. All my prayers and condolences to the family. Today we all lost a true friend that had a pure heart.
