Selena Alexander

Selena Elizabeth Leonhardt Alexander, age 79 of Ervin Drive, passed away peacefully Sunday, July 5, 2020 at Carolina Care and Rehabilitation. She was born January 2, 1941 in Gaston County to the late Bain Clay and Aileen Sellers Leonhardt.

Selena was a member of Saint John’s Lutheran Church. She was formerly employed as a bookkeeper in the accounting department of Carolina Freight Carriers. She also worked for Fleetnet. Selena was an avid reader and enjoyed going to ballgames with her kids.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Lee Alexander; son, Kent Alexander; brothers, Larry Leonhardt, Harlan Clay Leonhardt.

She is survived by her children, Leanne Alexander Brady and husband David of Pinehurst, and Clay Alexander of Cherryville; loving companion, Mike Randall; sister, Rita Leonhardt Larrabee; grandchildren, Alexander and Anderson Brady.

Services will be private.
