Rosie Fulbright

Rosie Madeline Gilbert Fulbright, age 87 of Lincolnton, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2023, at her residence.  She was born June 25, 1935 in Lincoln County to the late Robert Lee and Mary Belle Leatherman Gilbert.  She was a member of Spirit Life Church of God.  Rosie loved being outdoors and gardening. She also enjoyed word searches and spending time with her pet Prancer.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Leonard Fulbright; and siblings, Austin Gilbert, Junior Gilbert, William Gilbert, Ruth Sain, and Hazel Mauney.

Survivors include her children, Jimmy Gilbert (Cynthia), Diane Foster (Petey), Todd Fulbright (Tammy); grandchildren, Maranda Foster, Treve Foster, Alex Fulbright, and Kaitlin Fulbright; great grandchildren, Ethan Foster and Caleb Foster; great great grandson, Trae Foster; and special friends, Sharon Paysour, Wayne and Tracy Johnson.

A graveside service will be held Monday, March 27, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Mountain View Mennonite Church Cemetery, 1691 Mennonite Church Rd, Hickory, NC 28602, with Pastor Daniel Perry officiating.
