Rocky Sneed

Rocky Alan Sneed, age 55 of Ike Lynch Rd. passed away unexpectedly due to injuries from an accident on Saturday, January 23, 2021.  He was born September 13, 1965 in Lincoln County to Robert William and Linda Ann Hendrix Sneed of Bessemer City.  He was employed at Daimler and was a member of the UAW Local 5286.  Rocky was a member and the upcoming Master of Masonic Fairview Lodge #339 A.F. & A.M. of Kings Mountain; and he was a Shriner.  Rocky was an avid outdoorsman who loved camping and riding horses.  He was loveable guy who could always put a smile on your face.   He was a friend to all and never met a stranger.  Rocky had an abundance of love and support for anyone in need, especially for his family.  He was a loving husband and father and he adored his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Robert and Linda Sneed, he is survived by his wife of 34 years, Lisa Bean Sneed; daughter, Brittany Lewis and husband, Andrew; son, Devin Sneed and wife, Brooke; grandchildren, Chancey and Daniel Lewis, Bentley Blalock, and Harper Sneed; brother, Rusty Sneed; and sister, Lori Demmery.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Lewis Farm, 330 Lewis Rd. Gastonia, NC 28054.  Rev. Don Payne will officiate, and Masonic Rites will be rendered by Vic Willis.  Following the service, there will be a time to share memories with the family.  Please be mindful of social distancing and masks are encouraged.
