Richard Anderson

Richard Scott Anderson, age 59, of Rosemary Lane, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Levine and Dickson Hospice house, Aldersgate. He was born September 4, 1962 in Gaston County to the late Robert and Mary Holland Anderson.

Richard was a member of Crowder’s Creek ARP Church. One of his favorite things to do was dance, he was always the last to leave. He had a good sense of humor and loved to laugh at jokes and pranks. He also liked to sign "love" to his favorite people. He loved taking vacations, especially trips to the beach.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a special friend, Sharon.

Survivors include his caregivers, Brenda, Dana, Sammie, Bridgeat, Brionna, Dot, and Sequinah; special friends, Burt, Joey, Phillip, and Parks; and all his friends of Gaston Residential Services.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Crowders Creek Presbyterian.  Friends will gather from 10:00 to 10:45 AM prior to the service in the church.
