Penny Wolford

Penny Lee Macko Wolford, age 75, of Sunbeam Farm Road, passed away, Friday, June 4, 2021.  She was born December 31, 1945 in Cuyahoga, Ohio to the late Paul and Helen Koryta Macko.

Penny was a member of Anthony Grove Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed watching TV, and people watching. She also loved animals and visiting the beach.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Sharon Compton, and Susie Shephard.

Penny is survived by her daughter, Lynn Nelson and husband Eric; granddaughters, Kayla Britton, and Ashely Britton.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3 PM, Sunday, June 6, 2021 at Anthony Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Dennis Bean officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 2:45 prior to the service at the church.

A private burial will be held in the Cherryville City Memorial Courtyard.
