Patti Crews

Patti Ann Bryan Crews, age 55 of Requa Rd. went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, August 9, 2021 at Atrium Health Lincoln.  She was born January 26, 1966 in Mecklenburg County to Colleen Holcombe Bryan and the late Johnny Bryan.  Patti was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.  She was a CNA with Atrium Health Lincoln and held her certification as a Phlebotomist. Patti loved to care for others.  She enjoyed going to the beach and loving on her new Black Lab puppies, Lucy and Cooper.  She was an amazing wife and mother.  She and her daughter, Whitney were inseparable.  They loved to go to Country Music and Christian concerts together especially.  Patti was compassionate and caring and had love for everyone she met.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Debbie Arrendale.

Survivors include her husband of 23 years, Daniel Thomas Crews; daughter, Whitney Hooper Hull and husband, Tillman; mother, Colleen Bryan; siblings, Selma Wright, Tyrus Bryan, and Johnny Bryan and wife, Gail; father-in-law, Marvin Crews; mother-in-law, Beverly Crews; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Patti will lie-in-state Friday, August 27, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services. The family regrets not being able to be present during this time to speak with friends and family but due to current health concerns, they will not be in attendance.  The family deeply appreciates all the prayers, love, and support shown to them during this very difficult time.

A private family service will be held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

At a later date, the family will host a Celebration of Life Service that is open to the community.
