Mike Ratchford

Michael Sylvanus Ratchford, age 63 of Dallas Cherryville Hwy, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.  He was born December 19, 1956 in Gaston County to the late Lucille Rhyne Ratchford.  Mike enjoyed fly-fishing and had a great passion for hiking and going to the mountains.  He was a member of the Gaston County Cyclists and loved to go biking.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Denise Pearson Ratchford; sister, Linda Ratchford Myers; God-Daughter, Khloe Carothers; and mother-in-law, Nancy Pearson.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 14, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services.  Burial will follow at First Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Dallas.  Due to COVID-19 restrictions, face coverings and social distancing will be observed.
