Martha Lee Smith Williams, age 70, of Hole In The Wall Road, Lawndale, passed away Wednesday February 26, 2020 at home. She was born June 29, 1949 in Cherokee County, SC to the late John Williams Smith and Mandy Lee Mullinax Smith Parker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Maynard Williams; son, Stuart Maynard Williams; sister, Lynn Goodson; mother-in-law, Ruth Williams Williams;

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters and sons-in-law, Angela Williams and Mark Beaver, and Crystal and Kevin Gillis; sisters and brothers-in-law; Margaret Heavner, Shirl and Wayne Porter, Danny Goodson, and Mason and Jean Williams; grandchildren, Amber Cleary, Necia Manno, Johnathan Gillespie, Ariana Turner, Cacey Turner, Blake Gillis, and Trent Gillis; great-grandchildren, Makiela Crosswhite, Damon Crosswhite, Nevaeh Crosswhite, Kylee Cleary, Dalton Owens, Landon Huffstetler, and Aurora Morrison.

Her family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 PM Sunday March 1, 2020 at Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services, Cherryville.

A graveside service will be held at 3 PM Sunday March 1, 2020 at Faith Baptist Church Cemetery, 3038 Dravo Road Shelby, NC 28152
