Lance Goode

Lance Douglas “Big L” Goode, age 37, of Sounder Lane, passed away Tuesday December 17, 2019 at Atrium Health Cleveland. He was born February 4, 1982 in Lincoln County to Shelia Dellinger Reynolds and the late Michael Goode.

Big L loved to fish and was a great golfer. He also enjoyed playing cards with his family.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother and father, Shelia Reynolds (Johnny) of Shelby; brothers, Johnny Reynolds, Jr., Brian Truesdale, and Chase Goode; sisters, Amanda Truesdale, and Tabitha Goode; nieces and nephews, Dominic, Dimaggio, Alexis, Jada, Jazmine, Travionna, Tae’Yana, Olivia, and Braylon; numerous cousins and many friends.

A celebration of Lance’s life will be held at 4 pm Saturday December 21, 2019 at Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services, Cherryville with Rev. Norris Willis officiating.

His family will receive friends from 3 to 3:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
