Kim Angel

Kimberly Ann Hayes Angel, age 49 of Waco, went home to be with her Lord and Savior surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at her residence.  She was born October 26, 1971 in Cleveland County to Josephine Pow “Jo” Hayes and the late Frankie Lamar “Doodle” Hayes. She was a member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church. Kim was devoted to her witnessing for the Lord and even throughout her 5 year courageous battle with cancer, she never gave up her faith and was a constant example of a Christian woman allowing God’s light to shine through her.  She appreciated the ability to keep up with her friends and family and they brought great encouragement to her during her illness.  She finally won her battle and received the cure when God called her home Wednesday morning.  Kim loved shopping and all things Christmas.  She adored her family. Her kids were her world and she loved her precious dog, Bo.

Survivors include her husband, Thad Angel; son, Will Angel; daughter, Grace Angel; mother, Jo Hayes; brother, Jody Hayes; mother-in-law, Marjorie Angel; brother-in-law, Mitch Angel and wife, Cindy; niece, Candice Sneed and husband, Chris; great niece, Whitley Sneed; nephew, Austin Angel; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 18, 2021 at 3:00 PM at First Wesleyan Church with Pastor Bill Jones officiating.  Burial will follow at Capernaum Cemetery in Waco.  The family will receive friends Saturday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hospice of Cleveland County for all the care and love shown to Kim and the entire family during this time.
