Keith Kowaleski

Kerry Keith Kowaleski, age 73, of Kowaleski Lane, passed away Saturday, March 13, 2021 at his residence. He was born October 10, 1947 in Orange County, NY, to the late Chester Anthony Kowaleski and the late Sybil Cotton Floyd.

Keith was a proud retired veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post # 30 of Lincolnton. He was a member of Leonard’s Fork Baptist Church. Keith enjoyed hunting, golf, gardening, and was a huge fan of all sports. He also loved country music. Keith was an amazing husband, father, and papaw. He will be missed dearly.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 45 years, Becky Hallman Kowaleski; son, Kerry Keith Kowaleski II of Lincolnton; daughters, Kerri Kowaleski Dula and husband Billy of Granite Falls, Tonya Jenkins Forbes and husband John of Lincolnton, and Darlene Kowaleski Stewart of Lincolnton; brothers, Johnny Messina and wife Sandra, and Tony Messina and wife Liz, all of Tennessee; sister, Lucretcia DeFransico of Ft. Myers, FL; daughter-in-law, Robin Davis; grandchildren, Amanda Allen and husband James, Kayleigh Kowaleski, Johnathan Forbes, Raven Forbes, and Destiny Kowaleski; greatgrandchildren, Jaylen Lee Kerry, Kenai Isaiah Breeze, Abel Odin Reign, and Henry Allen.

Mr. Kowaleski will Lie in State from 1:00 to 7:00 PM Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at his home, which is located at 4672 Kowaleski Lane, Lincolnton NC, 28092.

Graveside services, with military honors, will be held at 2 PM Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Leonards Fork Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jaie Warlick officiating.
