J.W. Hanley

Joseph William “J.W.” Hanley III, age 77 of Cherryville, NC, formerly of Odessa, TX, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.  He was born June 9, 1943 in Augusta, GA to the late Joseph William Hanley Jr. and Christina Talbert.  J.W. was a veteran of the United States Airforce where he served as Military Police from 1961 to 1965.  He had a passion for photography.

Survivors include his wife, Robin Elliott-Hanley of Cherryville, NC; daughter, Darlene Worden and husband, Seth of Southport, NC; and grandson, Jacob Worden of Southport, NC.

Following with his requests, all services will be held privately.
