June 3, 1981 — July 28, 2020

Emily Danielle Huskins Wyatt, age 39 of Burtonwood Lane, passed away unexpectedly from injuries in an accident on July 28, 2020.  She was born June 3, 1981 to Carl Huskins Jr. and Linda Jarrell Huskins of Vale. She was a graduate of Davidson Community College.  Emily was a Registered Nurse with Hospice and a former home health nurse with Kindred.  She enjoyed going to the beach, swimming, and camping.  She also loved watching her children play football.  She enjoyed life and loved her family deeply.

Emily was preceded in death by her son, Dylan Lewis Wyatt.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Daniel Lee Wyatt; son, Hunter Wyatt; In-Laws, Morris and Darlene Turner Wyatt of Lincolnton; uncle, David Jarrell of Vale; aunts, Leah Wise of Lincolnton, Jane Farris of Lincolnton, and Barbara Bush of Dallas, TX; and sisters-in-law, Regina Wyatt of Lincolnton and Rebecca Tucker of Sevierville, TN.

Along with her son, Emily will lie-in-state Wednesday, August 5, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.  A funeral will be held for Emily and Dylan on Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Mt. Zion Baptist with Rev. Wayne Key officiating.  Burial will follow at Terry Rudisill Cemetery in Vale.  Due to COVID-19 restrictions, social distancing and face coverings will be observed.
