December 12, 2000 — July 28, 2020

Dylan Lewis Wyatt, age 19 of Burtonwood Lane, passed away unexpectedly from injuries in an accident on July 28, 2020.  He was born December 12, 2000 to Daniel Lee Wyatt of Lincolnton and the late Emily Danielle Huskins Wyatt.  He was a 2019 graduate of West Lincoln High School where he played football.  He also played Optimist Football, and was an outdoorsman who loved the mountains.  Dylan enjoyed hunting, fishing, and his dogs, Diesel and Rowdy.

In addition to father, Daniel Wyatt, he is survived by his brother, Hunter Wyatt; girlfriend, Breanna Brusso of Lawndale; grandparents, Morris and Darlene Turner Wyatt of Lincolnton, and Carl Jr. and Linda Jarrell Huskins of Vale; and aunts, Regina Wyatt of Lincolnton and Rebecca Tucker of Sevierville, TN.

Along with his mother, Dylan will lie-in-state Wednesday, August 5, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.  A funeral will be held for Emily and Dylan on Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Mt. Zion Baptist with Rev. Wayne Key officiating.  Burial will follow at Terry Rudisill Cemetery in Vale.  Due to COVID-19 restrictions, social distancing and face coverings will be observed.
