Miss Willie C. Harrelson, 88 of 5422 Carlingford Ct., formerly of Cherryville, died Thursday Jan. 14, 2010 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.
Willie was born on July 18, 1921 in Gaston Co. a daughter of the late W. Claude and Beatrice Dellinger Harrelson. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart College, retired lab technician with Demco Chemicals, and a longtime member of First United Methodist Church of Charlotte.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Grimes Harrelson, Sr., Sarah Jane Doering, S.S. Harrelson, Stacy Harrelson, Dorothy Radcliff and Ann Harrelson Floyd.
Survivors include her brother and sisters John Harrelson of Charlotte, Mary Jane Jenkins of Sebring Ohio, and Frances Powell of Cherryville and twenty one nieces and nephews and numerous other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 AM AT St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, New Prospect Ch. Rd., Shelby, NC. The family will receive friends Monday at the church from 10-11 AM and after the services at St. Paul’s Community Center.
