William
Lee Hamrick, 62 of 176 Florida Ave, Spindale formerly of Cherryville
died November 11, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Hamrick was born April 15,
1948 in Cherokee Co. South Carolina the son of Emma B. Hinson Hamrick
of Spindle and the Late William Dude Hamrick. He was a member of Free
Will Baptist Church.
In additions to his father he was preceded in death by a brother Billy Darget Hinson.
In addition to his mother survivors include two sons, Timothy Allen
Hamrick of Thomasville and William Lee Hamrick, Aberdeen, Maryland,
three daughters Cindy Hamrick, Lexington, Emma Hamrick, Thomasville and
Michelle Hamrick, Thomasville. Seven grandchildren. One sister, Ola Mae
Cochran. Spindale, Two brothers, Bruce Hamrick of Lincolnton and
William Donald Hamrick of Shelby.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, November 14, 2010 at
Carpenter’s Funeral Home, Cherryville with Chaplain Leonard Bumgardner
officiating. Burial will follow in City Memorial Cemetery. The family
will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Saturday,
November 13, 2010. The family will be at the home of Kim and Neal
Saunders, 4168 W. Dixon Blvd. Shelby, NC.
