Virginia Foley Thornburg, retired Cherryville teacher, passed away Saturday, March 13, 2010.
She was mother of Adam Thornburg, Neal Thornburg, & Geriel Thornburg May and mother in law of Maranda Brackett Thornburg and Steve Thornburg May, grandmother of Otto and Emmett Thornburg and Arcadia Thornburg May
The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 17, 2010, from 6:00PM to 8:00 PM at Carpenter’s Funeral Home, Cherryville.
In lieu of flowers, friends may choose to donate privately to Cherryville Public Library, 605 East Main Street, Cherryville, N. C. 28021, in her memory.
