Tomas Gonzalez, Jr, 63, of 238 St. Luke’s Church Road, Kings Mountain, died February 7, 2009 at Kings Mountain Hospital.
He was born on October 8 1945 in Nuevo Laredo Mexico in Tam County, a son of the Late Tomas Gonzalez, Sr. and Late Elvia Ramirez. He was retired from Carthage High School, Carthage, Texas.
Survivors include his wife Graciela Aguirre Gonzalez, Stepsons, John Garcia, Virginia Beach, VA, Luis Garcia, of Gastonia, Jaime Garcia, Carthage, Texas and
Vince Garcia, Kings Mountain, Stepdaughters, Cecilia Garcia Mojica of
Carthage, Texas and Sophia Edmondson of Onalaska, Texas, Twenty-five
grandchildren and Four great-grandchildren, Several Brothers and
Sisters.
Funeral services February 10, 2009, at10:00 A.M. at Kings Mountain Baptist Church, Kings Mountain, with Rev. Jose Espinal officiating with burial to follow at Mountain Rest Cemetery in Kings Mountain. The family will receive friends Monday, February 9, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Carpenter’s Funeral Home in Cherryville.
Carpenter’s is serving the Gonzalez family.
