Margaret Anne “Tiny” Washington Quinn. 89, of 338 Patriot Way, formerly of Cherryville, died November 3, 2011 at Hinkle Hospice House, Lexington, NC
 
“Tiny” was born on Dec. 25, 1921 in Pelzer, SC, a daughter of the late Ernest Jones and Emmie Dale Gaines Washington.  She was retired from Belk’s in Cherryville and a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Mae Harrelson Sunday School and a member of United Methodist Women.
 
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Dewey W. Quinn in 2004, daughters Nancy Yvonne Quinn in 1975 and Jane Robinson in 2011and a sister Martha Washington
 
Survivors include her daughters Martha Anne Homesley and husband Walter “Moby” of Thomasville and Billie Wells and husband Michael of Lancaster, SC, eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and a brother E. J. Washington and wife Mollie of Liberty SC.
 
Funeral services will be held Sunday at First United Methodist Church at 2:30 PM with Rev. Rick Fite and Rev. Mark Washington officiating with burial in City Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday from 1:30-2:15 PM.
