Thomas “Tommy” Keith Shuford, age 58, of 109 East Iowa Avenue, Bessemer City, formerly of Cherryville, died Monday, September 6, 2010 in Gaston Memorial Hospital. Tommy was born on May 23, 1952 in Gaston County, the son of Lester Plato Shuford , of Bessemer City and the late Josie Lee Franklin Shuford. Tommy was formerly employed with Carolina Freight Carriers, Cherryville, for 20 years.
He is survived by his three sons, Zachary, Jerod, and Lee Shuford, the mother of his children, Denise Beam Shuford, all of Cherryville, as well as his brother Lester Scott Shuford and his father of Bessemer City.
The family will receive friends, Saturday, September 11. 2010 at Carpenter’s Funeral Home, Cherryville from 2PM to 4PM.
A PRIVATE MEMORIAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT THE FAMILY HOME ON MARY’S GROVE ROAD AFTER THE RECEIVING OF FRIENDS ON SATURDAY.
