Thomas Gerald Laws, 68 of 101 Woodvale Dr., formerly of Waco, died Monday January 10, 2010 at his residence.
He was born in Rutherford Co. on Dec. 28, 1942 a son of Thomas Zeno and Virginia Estelle Murray Laws of Cherryville. Gerald was employed at Gaston Memorial Hospital in the telecommunications field and was a television repairman. He was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses in Boger City and a Air Force veteran.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife of 48 years Dianna Isenhour Laws, a daughter Angela Laws Plummer and husband Mike of Waco, three grandchildren David , Michael, and Patricia Plummer, and three sisters Peggie Copper and husband Walt of Cherryville, Roxanne Farris and husband Michael of Cherryville, and Linda Sue Conner of Kings Mountain.
A Memorial service will be held Saturday January 22, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. with Terry Holland officiating at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 855 Buffalo Shoals Rd., Boger City, NC. The family will receive friends after the services.
