Suzanne Boling Cobb, 69, of 111 Harrilson Rd., died Sunday, June 28, 2009 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Randolph Co., North Carolina on Sept. 26, 1939, a daughter of the late William Young and Eleanor Jessie Hughes Boling. Suzie was a retired medical transcriptionist for the Nalle Clinic in Charlotte and a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Cherryville.
She is survived by her husband Rev. Dr. John Cobb, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Nancy and Bill Fogleman and Sybil and Leon Williams both of Asheboro, NC., longtime friend Linda Tinsley, Statesville two stepsons John Moser Cobb, Canada, and Jerry Cobb, Concord, four nephews and one niece.
A Memorial service will be held Tuesday at St. John’s Lutheran Church at 1 PM with Rev. Dr. Robert E. Allen officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends after the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the donor’s choice.
