Ruth Rosemond Belcher Coyle, age 91 of 302 Mark Street, died February 3, 2012 at Carolina Care Center. Ruth was born February 6, 1920 in Cherokee County, SC a daughter of the late Charles and Alma Waters Belcher. She was a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church, Mint Hill, NC. She was a tile installer and housewife. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Benjamin Coyle, three daughters, Charlsie Furr, Anita Gray and Patricia Faye Bowyer. Survivors include a daughter, Joyce Shackelford of Cherryville, thirteen grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held, Monday, February 6, 2012 at 11:00 AM in Cone Memorial Chapel of Carpenter’s Funeral Home, Cherryville with Rev. Leonard Bumgardner officiating. Entombment will follow the service at Forest Lawn East, Weddington, Union County at 1:30 PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 – 10:45 AM prior to the service.
