Ruby Weaver Jenkins, 95, of Crouse died Tuesday June 15, 2010 at the Brian Center, Lincolnton.
She was born on March 15, 1915 in Crouse a daughter of the late Cletus and Lizzie Homesley Weaver. Mrs. Jenkins was retired from textiles and a member of Free Saints Chapel, Cherryville.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Stowe Franklin Jenkins and a sister Prue Weaver Styers.
Survivors include her son and daughter in law Terry and Peggy Jenkins of Crouse, grandson Eric Jenkins and wife Melanie, of Crouse, two great grandsons Hayden and Houston Jenkins of Crouse.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at Free Saints Chapel at 11:00AM with Rev. Charles Swicegood and Rev. Gene Honeycutt officiating with burial in City Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday at the church from 10:00 – 11:00 AM.
