ROBERT JACK LEDBETTER, AGE 68, departed this life on June 8, 2011.  Residing at  207  Bell Street,  Cherryville, he was at Carolina Medical Center, Charlotte when he died.  He was born in Toluca, N. C. on October 6, 1942, the son of the late  Robert  Lee  Ledbetter  and  mother, Gladys Withworth Ledbetter of Lincolnton.  A member of North Brook Baptist Church, a deacon and retired manger of Southern Bell, Jack served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam era.  Other than his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Lee Ledbetter.
 
Survivors: Mother: Gladys W. Ledbetter of Lincolnton, Daughters: Bobbi Lee Williams, of  Morganton, and Jacki Lee Cole & husband, Scott, US Air Force, Ward,  Arkansas, A son, Brent Ledbetter of Morganton,  a sister:  Maxine L. Warlick of Conway, S. C.  Grandchildren:  Taylor Dwayne Williams, Kaleb Williams, Kaelyn Williams, Triston Williams, Hayden Williams, and Ashlyn Cole.
 
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Sunday, June 12, 2011 at the Cherryville City Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Ray Pennell officiating.  Military honors will be afforded by Cherryville Post 100.
