Randy Alan Bridges, age 46, of 111 Little Matt Drive, died Sunday, November 20, 2011 at Cleveland County Hospice, Wendover, Shelby. Randy was born in Cleveland County on June 24, 1965, the son of the late Paul T. Bridges, Jr. and Brenda Kay Philbeck Bridges. He was retired on disability from Bridges Construction Company, where he was a house carpenter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Mark Bridges and Tim Bridges.
Survivors: Wife, Charlotte Annette Brittain Bridges, of the home, Three Sons: Josh Bridges, Jason Bridges, and J. Boe Bridges, all of Waco, N. C. One Daughter and and son in law: Jody & Tony Story, of Dallas, N. C.: Sisters and brothers in law: Cindy & Walter Brown of Polkville, N. C., Paula & Jimmy Sibla of Waco, N. C. Paternal Grandmother: Ollie Bell Sanders Bridges, of Cherryville, N. C. Three Grandchildren: Dixie Story, Michael Lee, & Shyanne Story.
Funeral Service will be conducted at Redeemed Pentecostal Holliness Church, 300 Doubles Shoals Road, Lawndale, N. C., Tuesday November 22, 2011 at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Coye Sanders officiating, with burial in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM, Monday November 21, at Carpenter’s Funeral Home.
