Peggy Ann Wisher Piercy, age 58, of 1714 Farmville Road, Shelby died Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011 at the home of her sons, Ronnie & Brian Lanier. She was born May 31, 1953 in Cherokee County, S. C., to the Late Ezelle & Roberta Maxine Taylor Wisher. Peggy formerly worked at PPG and was a caregiver to families for a number of years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Wisher.
Survivors: Husband Michael “Mike” Edward Piercy, of the home, sons: Brian Eugene Lanier and fiancé Kirsty and Ronnie Lanier, all of Cherryville, and a Sister: Brenda Jones of Gaffney, S.C.
A memorial services will be conducted at 4:00PM Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011 in Cone Memorial Chapel of Carpenter’s Funeral Home, Cherryville, with Rev. Bobby Challaham officiating and burial will be private.
