Pauline Self, 86, of 111 Harrison Rd., formerly of Allen St., died Saturday , May 30, 2009.
She was born in Gaston Co. on June 12, 1922 a daughter of the late
Clemmie and Annie Beatty Self. Pauline was retired from the Carlton
Yarn Mill and was a member of Mary’s Grove United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Lloyd Self and sisters Louise Sisk and Lucy Self.
Survivors include her son Donald Self of Cherryville, a daughter
Carolyn Huffstetler of Kings Mountain and a sister Madge Holland of
Kings Mountain.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 3 PM at Carpenter’s Funeral
Home with burial to follow in City Memorial Cemetery. The family will
receive friends at Carpenter‘s Monday from 1:30-2:45 PM .
