Norma Jean Price Chapman, 41 of 231 Bud Black Road, Crouse died, June 26, 2009 at Carolina Medical Center - Lincolnton. She was born August 31, 1967 in Gaston County a daughter of the late William R. and Elizabeth Nix Price, she was member of Leonard’s Fork Baptist Church and was a homemaker and worked at Carolina Mills.
Survivors include her husband Alan Chapman, two daughters Debbie Hodge of Gastonia and Becky Hodge of Kings Mountain, brothers, Larry Baker and wife Angie of Grover, NC, William Vermeulen, Bowling Green, SC, sisters, Loretta Hoermann and husband Robert of Dallas, Sally Johnson and husband Robert of Florida, Marilyn Estes of Ranlo, Emma Huffman, Swansea, SC, a special nephew Josh Hodge.
Funeral services will be Thursday, July 2, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Leonard’s Fork Baptist Church, Lincolnton, NC. With Rev. Robert Goins officiating. Burial in church cemetery following the service. The family will receive friends Wednesday, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the Carpenter’s Funeral Home.
