Mrs. Nell Shull Goins, age 93, of 102 3rd Avenue, departed this life on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at home. She was a native of Gaston County, born Novembe 2, 1915, the daughter of the late Martin Luther and Lola Mae Heavner Shull. Nell was retired from the Carlton Yarn Mill and was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Leonard Leon Goins, son Charles Kistler, brother, Woodrow Shull, Sister, Cora Upton.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 12 Noon, Saturday March 14, 2009 in Cone Memorial Chapel of Carpenter’s Funeral Home with Rev. Dave Kistler and Rev. Dan Kistler officiating. Interment will follow in the City Memorial Cemetery.
The family is at the home. They will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 11:45Am Prior to the funeral Service at the funeral home.
