Mary Helen Green Sale, died September 3, 2009 at White Oak Manor in King’s Mountain. She was born in Rutherford County, February 25, 1940 a daughter of the late Carl (Bud) Green and Gladys Watts Green Snyder. Preceded in death by her late husband Gary Sale. Mary was a member of Second Baptist Church, Cherryville and was retired from Harris-Welco with 20 years service.
She is survived by Step-father James Snyder, Cherryville two sons and daughter- in-law Steve Engle and Tammy, Terry Engle both of Kings Mountain, Grandchildren Natasha and Ashley Engle and Clay and Krystal Deveney all of Kings Mountain, three Great grandchildren Hunter and Hayden Williams and Stevie-Leigh Engle, two sisters Betty Brooks and Jo Ann Walker both of Forest City and a brother Carl Green of Kings Mountain,
Funeral service will be Sunday, September 6 ,2009 2:00 PM at Second Baptist Church, Cherryville with Rev, Mike Staton officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Carpenter’s Funeral Home, at other times at the home of Step-father James Snyder 105 East Ballard St., Cherryville.
