Mary Elizabeth Bumgarner, 52 of 308 Edell Street died September 6, 2011 at Carolina Medical Center, Charlotte. Mary was born January 29, 1959 in Georgia a daughter of the late Jean Fitch and Jim Fitch of Kings Mountain. She was employed at Super Wal Mart, in West Gastonia.
Survivors include her husband Colin Franklin Bumgarner of the home, two sons, Travis Bumgarner of Crouse, Daniel Bumgarner, Kings Mountain, one daughter, Katlyn Bumgarner of Kings Mountain, a granddaughter, Aubery Ann Bumgarner of Lincolnton, a brother George Fitch, of Kings Mountain, sisters, Ethell Fitch, of Raleigh, NC, Diane Fitch of Georgia, Wanda Fitch of Georgia.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 8, 2011 at 7:00 PM at Cone Memorial Chapel of Carpenter’s Funeral Home of Cherryville, with the Rev. Leonard Bumgardner officiating. Burial will be Private. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 6:00 – 7:00 PM.
