Margie Kathleen Blackwood Millwood age 88, died July 15, 2010 at her residence. She was born March 13, 1922, in Cherokee County, S. C. the daughter of the late Will and Lois Horn Blackwood. She was retired from Sweet Tree Manufacturing Company, Cherryville and was a licensed beautician. A member Fellowship Christian Center, Dallas.
Preceded in death by her husband Arthur Millwood
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Joe Millwood and Dessa, Cherryville, Don Millwood and Anita of Cherryville and Jan Millwood and Lynne of Lincolnton, Seven Grandchildren and Six Great-Grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at the Cherryville City Memorial Cemetery Saturday, July 17, at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Leonard L.Bumgardner officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 – 1:45 PM prior to the service.
