Margaret Dare Moss McSwain let this earth for heaven on August 17, 2011. Margaret was born May 17, 1946, daughter of the late Alma Dare Moss. She shared many memories with her husband, the late John Lewis McSwain, until his death in September, 2010. Surviving are her children, Dean McSwain and wife Leslie, Nina McLeymore and husband Darryl, Lisa Dunivan and husband John, grandchildren, Eric, Cassie, Blake, Ben, Veronica, Tyler, Taylor, Lauren, Johnathan, Heather and Chris, Lacey and Zane. Also surviving are her sister-in-laws and their spouses, Mary Helen McSwain Hinson and Husband Tom, Gail McSwain Ford and husband Rick, Wanda McSwain Hester and husband Luther, and Lavonda Upton McSwain. Along with her mother and husband, Margaret was preceded in death by brother-in-law, Eugene McSwain.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, August 21, 2011 at 3:00 PM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, with the Rev. Wayne Key officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Carpenter’s Funeral Home, Saturday, August 20, 2011 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.
