Lisa Ann Tanner Tilley, age 40, of 108 Carroll Drive, died Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at Carolina Medical Center, Main. She was born February 3, 1969 in Gastonia, the Daughter of Ralph Clyde Tanner, of Murphy, N. C. and Judy Gail Johnson of Clover, S. C. Lisa was a member of Glory Land Missionary Baptist Church, Kings Mountain and a loving wife, mother, daughter. Preceded in death by brothers, Noah Clyde Tanner & Jacob Tanner and sister, Olivia Sharon Renee’ Tanner.
Survivors include: Husband: William Tilley, Jr. of the home, Sons: Tristan Tilley, Bruce David Tilley, both of the home, Sisters: Sherry Haskins, Bonnie Tanner, both of Gastonia, Pamela Tanner, Clover, S. C., Misti Tankavich, of Dallas, Texas Step-Father: Darryl Hurley, of Clover, S.C. Step-Mother: Nancy Tanner, of Murphy, N. C., Many nieces and nephews, and one Great nephew.
Pallbearers will be: Bruce Hale, Jimmy Hale, Gary Hale, Shane Rose, Paul McKoy and Mark Tankavich.
Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00AM, Friday, July 10, 2009 at Glory Land Missionary Baptist Church, Kings Mountain, with Rev. Rick Sigmon and Rev. Scott Patterson officiating, burial will follow in House of Prayer Baptist Church Cemetery, Fallston, N.C.
The family is at home and will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Thursday, July 9, 2009 at Carpenter’s Funeral Home.
