Linda Kay Proctor Cook, 62 of Lincolnton died October 13, 2010 at Levine-Dixon Hospice House, Huntersville, NC. Linda was born March 17, 1948 in Gaston County a daughter of the late Tracy and Lilly Mae Towery Proctor. She was a housewife and member of Calvary Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael E. Cook.
Survivors include daughters Lindsi M. Cook of Greensboro, NC, Lori Hunt and husband Antwan, of Bostic, NC, Grandchildren, Katelyn Shrum, Alyssia Devgan, Bryanna Devgan, sister, Donna Bailey and husband Larry of Bostic, NC, brother, Bruce Proctor of Cherryville, NC.
Funeral services Thursday, October 14, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, Lincolnton, with Rev. David Jones officiating, visitation from 9:00 – 10:00 at the church. Burial will follow 2:00 p.m. at N.C. Veteran’s Cemetery, Black Mountain, NC.
