Kenneth Bert Stewart III, 27, of 802 Beaverwood Ct., Rockingham and formerly of Cherryville, died Feb. 12, 2011 in Rockingham.
He was born on May 6, 1983 a son of Tommie Kay Stroupe Stewart, Cherryville and Kenneth Bert Stewart, Jr. of Rockingham. He was formerly employed at Mohican Mills and worked in home construction and remodeling.
In addition to his parents he is survived by a daughter Brianna Paige Stewart, sisters Angela Stewart of Cherryville, Leslie Snell of Aberdeen, NC, Jennifer Snell of Florida, and Kimberly Stewart of Arkansas, and grandmother Elizabeth Stewart of Rockingham.
A Memorial service will be held Saturday at 3 PM at Carpenter’s Funeral Home with Rev. Leonard Bumgardner officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends Saturday at the funeral home from 2-3 PM.
