Kathy Jean Anthony Rudisill, 60, of 804 Craig St., formerly of Vale, died July 30, 2011 at the Brian Center of Gastonia.
She was born February 3, 1951 in Gaston Co., a daughter of the Von Eva Anthony of Cherryville and the late Johnny Howard Anthony. Kathy was a member of Howard’s Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to her father she is preceded in death by a brother Bobby Dean Anthony In addition to her mother she is survived by a son Michael Rudisill and wife Shannon of Gastonia, five grandchildren Mercedes Rudisill of Ft. Bragg, NC, Meredith Rudisill of Iron Station, Zachary Rudisill of Iron Station, Noah Davis of Gastonia, and Hunter Rudisill of Gastonia, two sisters Judy McSwain and husband J.R of Cherryville, and Patty Cain and husband Randy of Lincolnton, a brother Johnny Wayne Anthony and wife Amy of Cherryville and her companion Noah Heavner.
Graveside services will be held Monday at City Memorial Cemetery at 2 PM with Rev. Mike Staton officiating. The family will receive friends at the home on Craig St.
