Justin Ryan Wright, age 27 of 1817 Woods Ave., Newton, formerly of Cherryville died February 6, 2011 at the home of his brother in Cherryville. Justin was born September 21, 1983 in Gaston County a son of the Late Jerry Douglas Wright and Stephanie Lynn Watts Ward of Shelby.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Steve “Chew” Watts, paternal grandparents, Doug and Lilly Mae Wright, a step-brother Chris Ward.
Survivors include his wife, Shaynena Sharee Whiddon Wright and a son Kameron Ryan Wright both of the home, his mother Stephanie Lynn Watts Ward and step-father Scott Ward of Shelby, a brother, Jeremy Wright of Cherryville, a step-brother Eric Ward, Lincolnton, maternal grandparents Charlie and Dianne Brown of Cherryville, Margaret Watts of Gastonia, Mary Ellen Ward of Lawndale, paternal grandmother, Joyce Wright of Hilderbran, mother-in-law Patricia Whiddon, Newton.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Key officiating. Burial will follow in City Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 8, 2011 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Carpenter’s Funeral Home.
The family will be at the home of Charlie and Dianne Brown,137 Mozelle Road, Cherryville.
