Mrs. Johnnie B. Hamrick, age 83 of 102 Courtryside Drive, died December 28, 2010 at Cleveland Regional Hospital, Shelby. She was born February 13, 1927 in Gaston County, the daughter of the late John and Lytha Dellinger Beamguard. Johnnie was a homemaker, a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church and a loving mother and wife and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Thomas G. Hamrick, Sr., a sister Thelma Hoyle, and a brother, Kenneth Beamguard.
Survivors: Sons: Thomas “Tommy” G. Hamrick, and Daniel E. Hamrick, both of Cherryville. Eight Grandchildren and Eleven Great Grandchildren and one great Great Grandchild.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, December 31, 2010 at Cone Memorial Chapel of Carpenter’s Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Key officiating, burial will follow in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service, from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the funeral home.
