Joel Vincent Beam, Age 64, of 111 Harrilson Road, died Wednesday, June, 10, 2009 at Gaston Memorial Hospital. Joel was born in Guilford County, N. C. August 4, 1944, the son of the late Charles Grier and Lena Sue Brawley Beam. Formerly employed at Carolina Freight Carriers, he was a life long member of the First United Methodist Church and a veteran of Vietnam US Air Force
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a nephew, Charlie Beam.
