Jesse Ray Moss, Sr., age 72, of 700 Self Street, formerly of Kings Mountain, died March 31, 2009 at Century Care of Cherryville. He was a native of Stanley, Gaston County, N. C. Born August 12, 1936, the son of the late Charlie Hazel and Geneva Hunsinger Moss. Jesse was retired as a security guard with Kings Mountain Hospital and former owner of Moss Florist, Gastonia.

Funeral Services will be conducted a 2:00PM Friday, April 3, 2009 at Cone Memorial Chapel of Carpenter’s Funeral Home with Chaplain Leonard Bumgardner officiating. Interment will be in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Cherryville, N. C. Visitation 12:00 noon - 1:45 Friday at the funeral home.
