Jerry David White, 69, of 5209 Dellinger circle died Dec. 16, 2010 at his residence.
He was born on October 25, 1941 in Gaston County a son of the late James William and Bertha Ezdell Lankford White. Jerry was a self employed handyman.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by six late brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his sisters Judy Anthony of Cherryville, Dorothy Edwards and husband Ralph of Sherrill’s Ford brothers Heman White and wife Louise of Crouse, Rudy Dan White and wife Carolyn of Cherryville, and Thomas Michael White of Winston Salem and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3 PM at Carpenter’s Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Lail and rev. Winston Morrison officiating with burial in City Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1-2:45 PM at the funeral home and at other times at the home.
