Jeanette G. Buff, 77, of 310 Henredon Rd., has departed from her earthly home to her heavenly home which God has promised for his children on Monday August 15, 2011 at Grace Hospital.
Mrs. Buff was born in Lincoln Co. on November 17, 1933, a daughter of the late Buster and Cora Vennia Rhyne Gantt. She was a retired employee of Broughton Hospital and attended of the Morganton Church of God.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Donald Carl Buff and a sister Jean Ellis.
Survivors include her daughter Shasta Johnson, Morganton, a son Keith Nelson Buff of Morganton, grandchildren Jessica Branch of Wake Forest, Brandon Johnson, and Dalton Buff both of Morganton , great grandchildren Savannah and Scarlett Branch, a brother Joe Billy Gantt and wife Jean of Cherryville and numerous family and friends..
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2PM the Morganton Freedom Church of God with Rev. Todd Phillips officiating with burial at 4 PM in Cherryville City Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Church Thursday from noon-1:45 PM and at other times at the home.
