Irene S. Quinn, age 86, passed away on November 24, 2010. Born in Lincoln County, NC. Irene was the oldest child of Henkle and Maggie Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Quinn, great granddaughter Bailey Hamrick and two brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her children, John Quinn And wife Lydia, Beth Hamrick and husband Carleton, and Jane Davis and husband Rick . Additionally , she is survived by grandchildren Beulah Quinn, John Quinn, Carleton Hamrick and wife Noel, Casey Hamrick, Christie Ashton and husband Bill, Kelley Waldron and husband Matt; and great grandchildren, Chipper Hamrick, Liam and Lareeta Ashton, and Ellie and Charlie Waldron.
The family will receive friends at Carpenter’s Funeral Home, Cherryville, NC on Saturday November 27, 2010 from 11 AM to Noon. Burial will be private.
