Mrs. Hattie Marcella Behrends, age 78, of 123 Stonewood Estate Drive, left this earth to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, January 27, 2012 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center, Shelby. Hattie was a native of Lincoln County, born April 23, 1933 to the late Austin and Eva Johnson. She was of Baptist Faith and formerly worked in assembly & manufactory of part of the Aviation Industry. She was preceded in death by her husband Leslie Arden Behrends. Survivors: Son and daughter in law: Robert Ray “Robbie” and Peggy Ann Johnson of the home a sister Inez Smith and a niece Pat Lay both of Shellman, Ga. Funeral services will be 2:00PM Sunday, January 29, 2012 at Cone Memorial Chapel of Carpenter’s Funeral Home, with Rev. Tom Hartis officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM to 1:45PM, prior to the service. Entombment will be for family only in Forest Lawn Cemetery on Monday, January 30, 2012.
