HAROLD GENE PAGE, age 56 of 813 Settlers Drive, died Thursday, October 7, 2010 at home.  Gene was born in Cleveland County, on August 30, 1954, the son of the late Harold Lee Page and Bobbie Jean Spencer Page, of Bessemer City.  He was a 1972 graduate of Cherryville High School, and  the NC Center for Applied Textile Technology, Belmont, NC.  He was a member of the First Wesleyan Church of Cherryville and employed by Pharr Yarn of McAdenville, NC.

 Sons: Travis Page of Raleigh, N. C.

Brother:  Doug Page of Boiling Spring, N. C.
 Sister:  Debbie Page, of Mason, Ohio
Father-in-law and Mother-in-law:  Ben and Betty Blackburn, of Cherryville
Brothers-in-law and wives:  Ben and Robin Blackburn, of Cherryville, N. C., Edd and Sherrod Blackburn, of Kings Mountain, N. C.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 10, 2010 at 3:00 PM at First Wesleyan Church, Cherryville with Rev. Mark Poe, Chaplain Steve Salis and Rev. Edwin Chriscoe officiating.  Burial to follow in City Memorial Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Carpenter’s Funeral Home.
